Travel back in time at the Goleta Sanitary District’s Jurassic Park-themed Open House on Saturday, September 23 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at 1 William Moffett Place, Goleta (across from the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport). This event is free, educational, and fun for the entire family.
The water we drink and use in our everyday lives is the same water that has been on earth since the time of the dinosaurs (and long before). Learn how water has been purified for millions of years and how the Goleta Sanitary District (GSD) replicates the earth’s natural processes to treat your wastewater. At the Open House one can also jump on the adventure driving tour, take an educational walking tour of the water resource recovery facility, see dino-riffic displays and collect stamps in an adventure passport for a chance to win prizes. Food available while supplies last.
