First backpacks and now books! Thanks to the Rotary Club of Goleta Noontime for once again stepping up for our kids. At the beginning of the year the group donated new backpacks to Goleta Union School District elementary students TK – 6th. Now the Rotary Club members have donated new books for GUSD libraries.
The books are purchased at Chaucer’s Bookstore and then labeled and signed by several Rotary Club members at their monthly meetings before being redistributed to GUSD libraries with the help of GUSD Library Media Specialists.
We can’t think of a better example of #goodlandgoodpeople. Thank you Rotary Club of Goleta Noontime for always helping us start the school year on the right foot! Let’s continue to empower Goleta youth with the essential learning tools they need to excel every academic year!
