Free Air Purifiers for Old Town Residents

Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District (APCD) is offering free air purifiers to residents of Old Town Goleta only, limit one per address and only while supplies last. Air purifiers help keep indoor air clean during wildfires.

APCD hosted a successful in-person event at the Goleta Community Center in March, where 400 Old Town Goleta residents received a free air purifier. Now, any Old Town Goleta resident who has not already participated in this free air purifier program can apply online to receive one shipped directly to their home. Here are some program requirements to keep in mind:

  • Old Town Goleta residency is defined by this this State of California map.
  • Proof of address is required to participate, and addresses must be located within the boundaries found in that State of California map.
  • Fill out the online form and you will be prompted to provide a proof of address, which can be a driver’s license or piece of mail like a utility bill.
  • Once your address is verified, you will receive the air purifier within 1-2 months. It will be shipped directly to your address.
