This August, Santa Barbara nonprofit SEE International’s local program, SEE Vision Care (SVC), is kicking off Children’s Sight Month by helping uninsured and underinsured children receive the eye care they need before the new school year begins.
Throughout the month, the SVC team will provide free vision screenings at local schools and community organizations, identifying children who need follow-up care. Qualifying children can then receive free comprehensive eye exams and prescription glasses at one of SVC’s five clinics in Goleta, Ventura, Oxnard Westminster, Thousand Oaks, or Lompoc.
